The curtain falls on the Campania Teatro Festival, last appointment with Remo Girone, Sarà Bertelà and Viola Marietti, Aneema – Songs in E/motion, Federico Buffa

The fifteenth edition of the Campania Teatro Festival, directed by Ruggero Cappuccio, is coming to an end. The festival was funded by the Campania Region and organized by the Campania dei Festival Foundation, chaired by Alessandro Barbano.

For the National Prose section, the world premiere of Il cacciatore di nazisti, written and directed by Giorgio Gallione, will be made at the Giardino Paesaggistico di Porta Miano at 21 pm. Remo Girone will be the protagonist of a story based on the writings of Simon Wiesenthal, somewhere between a gripping spy thriller and a historical investigation. Relived with human participation and a touch of caustic Jewish humor, Il cacciatore di nazisti tells the story of Wiesenthal himself, who after surviving five different extermination camps dedicates the rest of his existence to hunting down those responsible for the Holocaust. The story brought to the stage dates back to 2003, to what is ideally Wiesenthal's last day of work at the Jewish Documentation Center he founded: before retiring, the man retraces 58 years of chasing war criminals. A production of Ginevra Media Production and Teatro nazionale di Genova.

Another debut, in the National Prose section, will be the show L'intervista, a text by Pascal Rambert translated by Susanna Spero, scheduled for its world premiere at the Cortile della Reggia di Capodimonte at 21 pm. Conceived and directed by Sara Bertelà, this project will see the director on stage together with Viola Marietti. The French playwright Rambert has established himself on the European scene for his ability to immerse himself in the depths of the human psyche. Now, what happens when only questions remain? It is in this latest text of his that the author investigates what happens when a traumatic event upsets one's certainties. The interview referred to in the title compares two women who share an unspeakable pain. Through mutual listening, the possibility of escaping from the suffering of loss emerges unexpectedly, and the glimmer of a rebirth appears. A production of ATIR Independent Theatre Association for Research in collaboration with Labarca Teatro Milano.

Sala Assoli will host at 21 pm, for the Music section, Aneema – Songs in E/motion, directed by Dario Sansone and Francesco Filippini. Music and lyrics are by Dario Sansone, frontman of Foja: on the occasion of the release in theaters of “Yaya e Lennie – The Walking Liberty”, for which Sansone took care of the soundtrack, the singer will propose on stage the most famous songs of the Foja repertoire. The concert will be enriched by the illustrations drawn and animated at the moment by Francesco Filippini, one of the most brilliant artists in the field of Italian animation. The visual experience will merge with the singing and the music to recreate on stage a narrative and emotional unicum, a new synesthesia.

The healthy competition, however, turns into an internal struggle in each group when the bad guys steal the notebooks with the stories to win the contest.
