Naples. Checks at Secondigliano and Capodichino airport.
This morning, officers from the Secondigliano Police Station, the Naples – Capodichino Air Border Police and personnel from the Municipal Police – Airport Operations Unit, with the support of the Tourist Police Operations Unit, carried out an extraordinary territorial control service in the Secondigliano neighborhood and at Capodichino airport to combat the phenomenon of illegal public transport.
During the activity, 45 people were identified, 10 of whom had criminal records.
Police, 13 vehicles checked and 9 contested violazioni of the Highway Code for lack of insurance coverage, failure to have periodic inspections and for failure to show the driving license because he was not accompanying the vehicle; furthermore, they fined the driver of an NCC vehicle because he had not filled out the service sheet correctly.
Finally, the operators surprised 2 people at the airport who had used their private vehicle as NCC without having the required license and, for this reason, they administratively fined them while the vehicles were seized.
