Caserta, weekend under lockdown, inter-force checks in 30 locations and dozens of beaches: 150 vehicles checked.
As part of the extraordinary territorial control activity organized by the Police Chief of the Province of Caserta, targeted services were carried out on the evenings of Friday 1 and Saturday 2 July 2022 to combat the commission of crimes and illegal conduct in the areas of the city center of Caserta and the municipalities of Santa Maria Capua Vetere, Castel Volturno and Sessa Aurunca.
The aforementioned services, coordinated by State Police officials, were attended by operators from the State Police, the Carabinieri, and the Guardia di Finanza, assisted by the Municipal Police Forces for the operational areas of specific competence.

Numerous checkpoints were set up and approximately 300 people were identified, including several individuals with previous police records, approximately 150 vehicles were checked, several dozen violations of the Highway Code were reported with administrative stops and seizures of vehicles and several searches were carried out aimed at combating criminal activities, such as drug dealing and unjustified possession of weapons. At the conclusion of this activity, a man was reported at liberty for the crime of possession of drugs for the purpose of dealing.
Furthermore, pending specific checks on public establishments, approximately 30 commercial establishments were monitored, verifying the exact fulfillment of the requirements imposed by the current mayoral ordinance.
Furthermore, on the Domitian coast, targeted control activities were carried out on particularly popular beach resorts.
