Napoli, a breve la consegna del complesso scolastico Muso-Fedro. Prevista la demolizione e la ricostruzione dell’Istituto Troisi di Pianura
“After a dispute lasting more than a decade, next week the Musto-Fedro complex of Municipality 5 will finally be delivered”. The director of the Technical School Service, architect Alfonso Ghezzi, announced this during the Education Commission, chaired by Aniello Esposito. The meeting, which opened with a remembrance of Deputy Mayor Mia Filippone, was also an opportunity to take stock of the funding and timing for maintenance work on school buildings.
“The Administration – we read in a note – submitted a total of 70 applications. As for the national PNRR funds, applications were accepted for 11 nurseries, 17 kindergartens, 2 gyms, in addition to the demolition and reconstruction from scratch of the Massimo Troisi Institute in Pianura. On the PNRR Regional funds, the Municipality submitted 31 schools, of which two were admitted to funding: the Salvo D'Acquisto Institute and the Russo Institute.
On the hypothesis that the maintenance could jeopardize the regular start of the school year, Ghezzi assured that the interventions in progress will be completed by the beginning of the school year.
For new interventions, it will be necessary to take into account the stringent deadlines of the PNRR for the start of work and organize alternatives for users accordingly. Nursery schools, kindergartens and schools that are candidates for the PNRR Region require priority attention, given that the start of work is required by 2023. There should be no problems instead for the Troisi Institute and the interventions on the gyms, for which the deadline for the start of work is March 2024″.
