The first edition of the "Scusa si te vanto" photography contest, conceived by Gianni Cianci and Danilo Forgetta and organized in collaboration with the Arcobaleni Cultural Association and Graus Edizioni, is underway.
The competition is inspired by the book Scusa si te vanto by Gianni Cianci and Danilo Forgetta. Their stories are linked to Roccamonfina, home of peasant heroes, to the passions and smiles, sometimes bitter and disillusioned, of the many characters portrayed with small and witty brush strokes.
A photography contest dedicated to Roccamonfina aims to be an opportunity to promote the town of Roccamonfina, its people and its nature as a photographic artistic subject.
The initiative invites you to tell, through images, a city that can be discovered and rediscovered: the city of Roccamonfina and its hamlets, with their plurality of life and their beauties. Every city, however well-known, offers those who look at it and observe it the opportunity to be rediscovered, looking with new eyes beyond the clichés, seeking another point of view. Different views of Roccamonfina: which is yours?
Three sections are planned:
– People: people educated in their daily lives, in their work and in their traditions.
– The streets: urban views between monuments, alleys and buildings.
– The views: scenarios immersed in the fascinating nature of a volcano that has been extinct for centuries.
All the ways to participate are available on the website: https://www.silenziovivo.it/
