Good turnout this morning at the anti-Covid hub in Capodimonte, in Naples, reopened to the public today for the administration of the fourth dose of the vaccine. When the center opened, at 9, there were already about a hundred people who were waiting in line ready to enter. Almost all of them were over 60.
Some complaints about waiting in the sun due to the high summer temperatures were inevitable. The medical facility had already reopened last week, for two mornings a week, in order to encourage the administration of the fourth doses. From today, the vaccination hub of the Fagianeria, set up inside the Capodimonte park, will instead be open full time, every day from 9 to 14, except Sunday.
The basic need is to relieve pressure on the territorial health districts where there has been a strong influx of over 60s recorded in recent days. Other Campania Local Health Authorities are also preparing to reopen some of the hubs set up to deal with the first phase of the pandemic.
