Covid in Campania, over 600 hospitalized

There are 630 patients hospitalized for covid in Campania between intensive care and ordinary wards in the hospitals of our region.

Numbers that were not even reached at the peak of the pandemic. Numbers that have raised the alarm, but in truth throughout Italy, on the use of masks, and on all the precautions we were used to taking until a few months ago.

The fact is that in Campania, in the last 24 hours, 13.923 positive cases of Coronavirus have been recorded (13.923 in antigen test and 888 to the molecular swab), data which take into account the update on the measures quarantine and isolation of the Ministry of Health. There are 3 deaths, 1 deceased previously but registered yesterday. The Crisis Unit reported this regional.

The swabs processed yesterday were 40.148, of which 33.846 were antigen tests and 6.302 molecular tests. The positivity rate dropped to 34,67%, compared to 36,7 yesterday. The occupancy of intensive care beds is decreasing, at 30 (-4), while the growth of hospitalizations, which today are 600 (+19).
