Covid in Campania, hospitalizations become a cause for concern again

Covid in Campania, a new increase in hospitalizations is recorded accompanied by an increase in the positivity rate.

In Campania, in the last 24 hours, 4.991 positive cases of Coronavirus were recorded (4.818 antigen tests and 173 molecular swab tests), data that take into account the update on quarantine and isolation measures by the Ministry of Health. There are 30 deaths, 24 of which occurred previously but were recorded yesterday. This was reported by the Regional Crisis Unit.

The swabs processed yesterday were 16.061 of which 14.313 were antigen tests and 1.748 molecular tests. The incidence rate is 31,07%, up from 29,26% the previous day also due to the lower number of swabs on Sunday.

The regional bed-place report shows 573 available intensive care beds, of which 28 (-6) occupied, while the available hospital beds, between Covid beds and private supply, are 3.160, of which 722 occupied (+73 in one day, in practice over 10 percent growth).
