Sudden, strong, unexpected and worrying increase in the number of hospitalizations for covid in Campania: 76 more in ordinary wards and 2 in intensive care.
It is a clear sign that we absolutely cannot let our guard down. And of course with a lower number of swabs carried out over the weekend there is also an increase in the positivity rate.
Today there are 3060 new positives of the day in Campania processed by 2.925 antigen swabs and 135 molecular ones out of 12789 test performedi (11.066 antigenic and 1.723 molecular) for a contagion index equal to 23,92%, a couple of points higher than yesterday's figure (21,62%) but with a less significant number of swabs carried out on a holiday.
The Campania Region provided the data in the usual way SNOW ordinary where they are also indicated 10 deaths in the last 48 hours and one that occurred previously but was only recorded yesterday. On the front beds 38 patients are indicated in intensive care (+2) and 739 are hospitalized in ordinary hospitalisation departments with an increase of 76 more occupied places compared to the previous day.
