This morning, following investigative activity carried out by the Flying Squad, coordinated by the District Anti-Mafia Directorate of Naples, a man was arrested in Spain, Luigi capuano aged 34 on the basis of a European arrest warrant issued by the Italian authorities, with the collaboration of the personnel of the International Police Cooperation Service and the collateral body of Spanish police.
Capuano was stopped in the locality of Valencia with a false documentThe 35-year-old had been untraceable since May 14, when the Flying Squad personnel had executed a precautionary custody order issued by the GIP of the Court of Naples, at the request of the local Anti-Mafia District Directorate, which had ordered his detention in prison.
He is accused in conjunction with Patrizio Bosti, 19 years old, son of Hector Bosti, Said Little Hector and in turn son of Patrizio, a leading figure Contini clan, and founder of the Secondigliano alliance, together with the Mallardo and Licciardi clans, and George Marasco, aged 19, of the crimes of private violence and personal aiding and abetting, aggravated by the mafia methods provided for by art. 416 bis.
House arrest had also been ordered against Gennaro Vitone, aged 21, seriously suspected of the crime of road personal injury with the aggravating circumstance of escape.
In particular, last May 15th Vitone, riding a motorcycle, travelling at high speed through the city streets, had hit a Veronica carrasco, wife of the restaurant owner Pasta drops in Via dei Tribunali who was carrying out his work activity outside the restaurant, and a Argentine tourist, causing them, respectively, serious and very serious injuries.
To allow the motorcyclist to escape and ensure his impunity for the crime of road injuries, a large group of individuals intervened and physically attacked and threatened both the owner and the chef of the restaurant, also in order to persuade them not to file a complaint against the driver of the vehicle that hit the car, as well as the Argentine tourists who intervened to support their injured friend, by using a weapon.
The same people, who had tried to prevent the motorcycle, which had been used to cause the double accident, from being taken away, had also been attacked by throwing tables and chairs.
