'For Someone Like Me', Destro's New Single

Upon release on digital platforms, Destro's song was immediately included in Spotify's editorial playlists, "New Music Friday and Scuola Indie".

Luca Castrignanò, aka Destro, returns with his new single “Per uno come me” after participating in Sanremo Giovani, hosted by Amadeus and aired on Rai 1 last December 15th.

After passing all the Area Sanremo selections, the Rai artistic commission chose him for the television final with his song “Agosto di piena estate”, which received excellent feedback from critics and the public.

The new song, in line with the artist's path, has a strong singer-songwriter character with a production that supports the singing and the lyrics very well and transports it to a summery and current dimension even if using acoustic instruments, such as a flugelhorn solo that characterizes this song a lot and makes it different from the others.

For someone like me, it tells of a relationship in which one of the two partners does not feel up to the other. An immature love, a relationship still stuck at the starting point, stuck at first glances and appearances.

The song was produced by Beppe Stanco (BS) and is accompanied by a video clip filmed in Luca's kitchen in Milan in an attempt to prepare his "signature dish", carbonara.

At the end of the video the dish will not be perfect, which metaphorically represents the phrase in the text “I am just a piece of a song that is not successful”, it is not successful just like this carbonara.

In the video, the artist reveals in a funny and equally ironic way his admiration for the most important presenter on the Italian television scene.

Luca Castrignanò, aka Destro, was born in Leverano (LE) and has now been living in Milan for five months.

He participated in the latest edition of Sanremo Giovani, after winning the Area Sanremo competition. Premio Radio Bruno as part of the Premio Lunezia, for about two years he has been part of the roster of Beat Sound, Beppe Stanco's Milanese record label.
