The RinascitaFest has begun in Pomigliano d'Arco

After the success of yesterday's inauguration, the RebirthFest at the former Circumvesuviana station comes to life with the first weekend of programming. Among others, there will be the national secretary of FIOM Michele De Palma, the Minister of Foreign Affairs Luigi Di Maio and the Neapolitan rapper CoCo.

Guests and spectators have already been able to see the results of the organizational efforts in transforming the area of ​​the former station, long disused and partially abandoned, into an operational and functional place, with a space for debates, a stage, an exhibition fair, a food area and art exhibitions.

Today's program begins at 18.00:20 pm with the presentation of the book "Il tempo di morire" by Eduardo Savarese. The activities will continue, starting at 00:XNUMX pm, with the debate "Lavoro, Diritti e Mezzogiorno" where the following will speak: Michele De Palma, General Secretary Fiom Cgil; Prof. Maria Rosaria Carillo, professor of Political Economy at Parthenope University; Luca Simone, representative of the Casa del Rider association; Raffaella Casciello, national coordinator of UP - Su la testa, and Antonio Tondi, member of Rinascita. The moderator of the event will be Ferdinando Bigliardo, representative of the Rinascita board with responsibility for labor policies.

In the evening, starting at 22.00:XNUMX p.m., the Campania folk music groups 'A Sunagliera, Ass. Terra Fuoco e Suoni, “A Paranza r'o Lione”, “Madonna de Rose”, Pino Iove, “Tonino O Stocco”, “Paranza Mezzone”, and the “gruppomusicalequellidellacurva” will perform on the central stage.

Tomorrow, instead, will begin at the council chamber in Piazza Municipio where, starting at 11:15, Foreign Minister Luigi Di Maio will speak and answer questions from Conchita Sannino, a journalist from La Repubblica, on the topic of “The war in Ukraine, the role of Europe and the international situation”. Michele Tufano, a member of Rinascita, will preside.

The day will then continue in the afternoon, starting at 19:XNUMX p.m., at the former Circumvesuviana station, with the debate “Causes and consequences of the war in Ukraine” where speakers will include Carmine Pinto, professor of Contemporary History at the University of Salerno and director of the Institute for the History of the Italian Risorgimento; Salvatore del Gaudio, professor of Philology at the University of Kiev “Borys Grichenko” and Giovanni Savino, professor of Contemporary European History at the University of Parma. The moderator will be Roberta Manfregola, member of the board of directors of Rinascita.

The evening will end with a concert by rapper CoCo, who will be on stage at RinascitaFest starting at 21.30:XNUMX pm.
