Capriati al Volturno. A Sunday outing in the Matese area ended in tragedy. A 50-year-old man died in dramatic circumstances in Capriati al Volturno. The accident occurred near the Ponte di Santo Spirito where the man had headed perhaps to escape the heat, which had already been the scene of a suicide a few years ago.
When he didn't return home, his family raised the alarm and began searching for the 50-year-old: unfortunately, his body was found in a ravine, already lifeless.
Rescue attempts were unsuccessful: at the moment the hypothesis being considered is that of an accident, probably caused by illness.
