Falaut Orchestra in concert at the municipal villa of Vietri sul Mare: Friday 15 July
The “Falaut Orchestra” will perform in concert on Friday, July 15 at 21:21 pm in the splendid setting of the Villa Comunale in Vietri sul Mare. Against a backdrop of sea and sky, in the coveted ceramic arena, one of the most interesting summer events organized by the municipal administration led by Mayor Giovanni De Simone will be held at 2022:60 pm, as part of the long calendar of events of “Vietri Cultura XNUMX” – over XNUMX evenings scheduled – which bears the signature of Maestro Luigi Avallone as artistic director.
"The aim is to involve the interest and curiosity of all and at the same time to enhance and make the territory known to an increasingly international audience. Music represents one of the oldest and most exciting expressions of man and nature. It is a universal language that interacts with the word, the body, the senses, creativity, art, technology, innovation" explained Maestro Avallone, before illustrating the formation that will perform tomorrow evening.
“The 'Falaut Orchestra' was born from the best flautists derived from the twenty-year activity of the Italian Flautist Association, under the guidance of Maestro Salvatore Lombardi, who wanted and was able to give an immediately didactic and 'youthful' slant to dozens of musical exchange Campuses, to the related concert activities and above all to the Falaut magazine, unique in its sector, a pole of attraction between the wisdom of the 'old' flute generations with their legendary caliber, and the new executive energies represented by the young people who constantly converge here from all over the world. The peculiarity of this orchestra, entirely formed by transverse flutes that vary in compass formation, from the 15-piece chamber ensemble to the large 50-piece formation, is that of representing the entire family of the Flute, with a consort adapted to the music proposed, and that goes from the piccolo to the very rare contrabass flute, passing through the usual ordinary transverse flute, the G flutes, the bass flutes and the albisiphon flutes”.
A concert that will take the audience on a fantastic journey through the great masterpieces of Italian music from the Neapolitan School to Puccini. Music by Domenico Cimarosa, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Vincenzo Bellini, Gioacchino Rossini, Giuseppe Verdi, Giacomo Puccini, Luigi Arditi. Conducted by Maestro Paolo Totti. Free admission until seats are taken.
