frattamaggiore. On Tuesday a woman showed up at the Secondigliano Police Station to report that she had been the victim of attempted extortion; in particular, she said that in the morning, while she was on board her car in via Senatore Pezzullo in frattamaggiore, had been stopped by the driver of another car who had accused her, verbally attacking her, of having hit his car with the rear-view mirror and, therefore, had asked her to pay him 100 euros.

The woman, fearing a scam attempt, had tried to photograph the criminal who, having realised the woman's intentions, had started to pull her until she got back into the car from which he had then taken the model and the license plate of the man's vehicle.

Yesterday evening, an officer from the Secondigliano Police Station, off duty, noticed, again in via Senatore Pezzullo in Frattamaggiore, a car stopped on the right edge of the roadway and a person, corresponding to the descriptions provided by the victim in the complaint, who was pulling a boy by the arm; in those moments, after identifying himself, he reached the man who tried to escape but, thanks to the support of a patrol car from the Frattamaggiore Police Station, he was stopped.

A 22-year-old from Afragola was arrested by the PG for attempted aggravated extortion, while the car was seized.
