A fire is affecting the vegetation just below the Sant'Orsola hotel. On site, firefighter teams from the Maiori detachment and personnel from the Comunità Montana who from above, right next to the hotel structure, using fire hoses connected to tankers, are preventing the fire front from reaching the hotel.
Two helicopters are engaged in extinguishing operations, first of all by containing the fire which has already burned a good part of Mediterranean scrubThe mayor of Agerola, Tommaso Naclerio, is closely following the operations.
