Cinema: Ischia, Andrew Garfield's superstar weekend. The actor stars at the Global with Clive Davis and Vicedomini.

Ischia Global confirms itself once again this summer at the center of world showbiz: while waiting for his official passage tomorrow at the Global Film & Music festival, Andrew Garfield, one of the most famous young actors in the world, discovers the beauty of the green island together with the founder of the festival Pascal Vicedomini and Clive J. Davis, legendary music producer who is also among the protagonists of a twentieth edition full of presences: from young international stars, such as Michael Richardson and Matteo Bocelli (also celebrated by his father Andrea) to the masters of cinema Jim Sheridan and Jerzy Skolimowski.

The weekend promises to be very eventful: among the next award winners there will also be the American director Paul Feig and the Italians Sergio Rubini and Jonas Carpignano, and many are the protagonists of the musical section from Cristiano De Andrè to Clementino. Tomorrow will therefore be the day of Spideman-Andrew Garfield, 38 years old, two nominations at the Oscars, one at the Emmy Awards, the Anglo-American actor (he was born in England but has US citizenship) will receive the Legend Award of the Ischia Global. For him it has truly been an exceptional year: crowned, with the film Tick, Tick… ​​Boom!, by a Golden Globe.

Tomorrow from 18 pm at the Excelsior cinema in Ischia Porto fans will be able to watch Spider-Man: No Way Home, followed by a surprise tribute to the super guest. In the morning at Villa Arbusto (Lacco Ameno) the now traditional 'Production summit' of the Global fest will take place with the participation of Americans Mark and Doroty Canton, John Lesher (producer of the year), Daniel Frigo (Walt Disney Company Italy) Lisa Taback (Netflix) and Italians Nicola Claudio, Paolo del Brocco (Rai) and Alessandro Salem (Mediaset).

The festival, produced by Pascal Vicedomini, honorary presidents Tony Renis and Trudie Styler is promoted with the Accademia Internazionale Arte Ischia, the support of the DG Cinema and Audiovisual of the MiC and the Campania Region. The screenings are all free and between theaters on the island and platforms there are over 200 titles.
