Ischia. Yesterday afternoon the officers of the Police Station of Ischia, during the territorial control service, intervened in a bar near the embarkation area of the port to report a scam against an elderly woman.
The police officers, who arrived on the scene, were approached by a man who said that in the morning a person, pretending to be the nephew of the elderly mother, had contacted the woman by telephone, telling her that he was in serious difficulty, announcing that, shortly, a courier would come to collect some money or any other valuable object in his possession and that, if he did not comply with the request, she and her father could find themselves in danger.
