In this interview book, the journalist Ignazio Riccio retraces the history and career of the Neapolitan actor Ernesto Mahieux. An actor with a long career in theater and cinema, who came to the attention of the general public in 2002 with the award-winning “L’imbalsamatore” by Matteo Garrone for which he won the “David di Donatello” as best supporting actor.

Ignazio Riccio (Caserta, 1970) is a journalist who has been collaborating for years with national newspapers and magazines, such as Il Mattino di Napoli, Il Giornale, Left and Pagina 99. He directed the monthly investigation and analysis magazine Fresco di Stampa and was director. In 2017 he published the book-interview “Without masks on the soul. Gianluca Di Gennaro tells his story” (Caracò Editore).
In recent months, many books have populated the foyer of the San Giovanni a Teduccio theater, which has always been a nest for art and culture. Hence the idea of periodically hosting book presentations, meetings with authors and more…
This first presentation will obviously be attended by the author Ignazio Riccio, Ernesto Mahieux, the actor Giuseppe Gaudino, the director Giuseppe Miale Di Mauro and other guests.
