Sul Domitian Coast, where the waters have been invaded by red algae for several days, the alarm was raised due to the colour of the sea, which is between brown and reddish.
Several reports on this matter have been received by the Regional Councillor of Europa Verde Francesco Emilio Borrelli. In particular, anomalies have been recorded in Mondragone and Baia Felice.
“We have asked Arpac to carry out some tests.”- declared councilor Borrelli- “We need to understand quickly whether it is a “natural” phenomenon, perhaps linked to high temperatures, or whether there is a more serious problem at the root, linked to pollution. We are waiting for feedback. In any case, we must always keep the spotlight on the sea issue, which is an asset that must be protected also to encourage tourism.”
