Marmolada, the missing number drops from 13 to 8: four foreigners have been located and a thirty-year-old Italian man is hospitalized with a guarded prognosis.
The number of missing people after the collapse of the summit serac in Marmolada has dropped to 8. Yesterday the number was 13: among the five identified there is also the 30-year-old Trentino boy from Fornace hospitalized in Treviso with a reserved prognosis, but his life is not in danger.
Little by little, in fact, people who had been reported missing are reappearing, such as two French climbers who were grazed by the ice slide and who reported that, at that dramatic moment, there were at least 12 people on the normal route. A number that, calculating the official deaths with the names of the people who were searched for by relatives, is considered realistic.
Today, as in the past few days, investigators have also heard several witnesses to try to understand how many people were on the glacier at the time of the serac collapse.
