In the health bulletin released by Aorn Cardarelli it is stated that "the patient was admitted to hospital in the early hours of the day for acute coronary syndrome (SCA) and immediately underwent a percutaneous revascularization procedure, with a good final result". De Giovanni is hospitalized in the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit and his clinical conditions "are stable".
Bestselling author of 'I bastardi di Pizzofalcone', Inspector Ricciardi, 'Mina Settembre', published by Einaudi Stile Libero and 'Sara' (Rizzoli), always at the top of the best-selling book charts and also become very successful TV series, Maurizio De Giovanni, born in 1958 in Naples, where he lives and works, achieved true record-breaking results in 2020.
Writer, screenwriter, playwright, author mostly of crime novels, in the year of the pandemic, three novels of his various stories reached the top of the charts and in 2021 there were three TV series broadcast on Rai1.
