Beach resort on fire during the night in Mondragone, the police arrive and seize it: it was without a permit.
The beach resort “La Playa” caught fire. The alarm was raised, bringing the police and rescuers to the scene. After putting out the fire – the origins of which are under investigation – the Local Police officers, led by Commander Bonuglia, began checking the activity.
It was discovered that the establishment was missing some permits. For this reason, the equipment was seized and the operation of the beach was blocked. In the meantime, investigations continue to understand the reasons that triggered thefire which destroyed the wooden structure, umbrellas and chairs.
It could have been an accidental cause, perhaps generated by a short circuit, but the shadow of the extortion racket is not excluded. The owner interviewed at summary information reported that he had never received threats or extortion requests.
