Celebrations of the 250th anniversary of Vanvitelli's death: Reggia and Municipality publish the call for initiatives in Campania and Italy

'Luigi Vanvitelli, the Master and his legacy 1773 – 2023' is the title of the broad and complex project to build a unique and coordinated interdisciplinary and multi-subjective program, aimed at celebrating the great master in 2023 on the occasion of the 250th anniversary of his death.

The initiative, in the perspective of interinstitutional cooperation, supports the activation of network processes and the diffusion of public-private partnerships in order to create a network of synergies for the commemoration of the Architect.

The Royal Palace of Caserta and the Municipality of Caserta have already begun defining the activities by nominating the initiative for recognition by the National Consultation for National Committees and Editions and involving a variety of public and private institutional entities.

The expression of interest aimed at stimulating specific projects of private entities such as associations, foundations, volunteer organizations, pro-loco, cultural enterprises, social cooperatives and other non-profit organizations present in the territory, with particular reference to that of Campania, Lazio and Marche most affected by the presence of Vanvitelli, the construction of a broad and diversified program of cultural and tourist initiatives from March 1, 2023 to March 1, 2024, is therefore online.

Interested parties may submit proposals regarding cultural activities or enhancement initiatives that must be in line with the purposes of the Vanvitelli celebrations by giving the right international recognition to Maestro Luigi Vanvitelli, stimulating knowledge of his works in a physical and digital dimension, encouraging the activation of integrated network processes on the territory and falling within the municipalities and regions adhering to the project, as well as with Cultural Institutes and Universities promoting the project.

Proposals can be submitted to val.celebrazionivanvitelli@reggiadicaserta.it by August 13, 2022.
