Tony Binarelli has passed away. He rose to fame as a magician on television shows in the 90s and died at the age of 81 at the Pertini Hospital in Rome. He had been ill for some time.
From 1991 to 1995, with his participation in Buona Domenica on Canale 5, he won the Telegatto, the only magician to win the Italian TV Oscar. He also played himself in the two episodes of the 1972 Rai drama 'Serata al Gatto Nero'.
Tony Binarelli, pseudonym of Antonio Binarelli, was born in Rome on September 16, 1940. With his magic he embellished the programs of Corrado, Mike Bongiorno and Pippo Baudo until he was present at Buona Domenica from 1991 to 1995. Numerous guest appearances on Rai and Mediaset and live performances around Italy.
