At the Civic Museum of Maddaloni, the exhibition 'In vino veritas… drink if you can'

At the Maddaloni Civic Museum, the exhibition 'In vino veritas… drink if you can' will be held on Saturday, July 9th.

On Saturday 9th July at the Civic Museum of Maddaloni there will be the exhibition “In vino veritas… drink if you can…” with a themed itinerary of finds ranging from the XNUMXth century BC to the XNUMXst and XNUMXnd century AD and an exhibition of a private collection of containers for liquids from the XNUMXth and XNUMXth centuries.

The same evening will feature an animated reconstruction of the Trivice tavern, curated by the craftsman Pasquale Di Matteo, through dances, food and costumes from the time of the Duke of Maddaloni Carlo Pacecco Carafa.

For the occasion, for the recovery, protection and promotion of the intangible heritage present in the territory, a workshop will be set up that operates through the carving and sculpture of wood with "pastoral technique" on popular musical instruments: bagpipes, ciaramelle, tammorre and castanets. 'the event is part of the project 'Festa di Sant'Antonio Abate 2022 edition', an intervention co-financed by the POC Campania 2014-2020, 'Urban Regeneration, Tourism and Culture Policies', a unitary program of cultural, naturalistic and food and wine tourist itineraries of national and international scope in collaboration with the municipalities of Macerata Campania (leader), Recale, San Nicola La Strada and Castel Morrone.

This weekend's event is part of the complex program organized by Councilor Caterina Ventrone, in collaboration with Pro Loco San Michele and the Germogli and Re-Curo associations. The program includes a long series of moments of aggregation until the end of the calendar year 2022.

The events still scheduled are October 8, 2022 – “U' Cipp e Sant'Antuon”, November 5, 2022 – show “Amor… the infinite journey through the most beautiful poems ever written”, November 12-13, 2022 – “Bacco Tabasco and Venus”, November 19, 2022 – show “Dante's Inferno… the greatest journey of Man” and November 26-27, 2022 – review “Maddaloni Vino”.

There will also be the following guided tours: July 15-16, 2022 – guided tour of the Church of Santa Margherita V. and M. and S. Alfonso Maria de' Liguori – guided tour of the Sanctuary of S. Michele Arcangelo and Santa Maria del Monte, July 23, 2022 – “Appia Regina Viarum” and guided tour of the Congrega della Concezione, Refuge of the Templars and the canvas of the hall of the Convitto Nazionale “G. Bruno” and October 15, 2022 – guided tour of the Church of the Annunziata, Basilica Minore del Corpus Domini, Church of the Immaculate Conception.

Some exhibitions will be set up: November 19, 2022 – photographic exhibition of the artist Gigino Nostrale, December 8, 2022 (closing December 30) – inauguration of the nativity scene exhibition, December 8, 2022 (closing December 30) – artistic review: “Presepi in casa”.
