Naples. Fire in a house: two children saved by firefighters.
It happened this afternoon in via Suor Orsola, a side street of Corso Vittorio Emanuele in Naples. Firefighters rescued two children trapped on the fifth floor of the building where the fire broke out.
The red helmets reached the apartment where the two boys were with the help of respirators and took them out of the building. In addition to the fire brigade teams, the men from the police station also worked on the spot.
The flames destroyed the furnishings of some apartments and also affected the beams of the attics. Three families were evacuated pending investigations into the statics of the building. Investigations are also underway to establish the nature of the fire and whether the children were left alone in the house.
