NapoliYesterday afternoon, the agents of the General Prevention Office, during the territorial control service, on the orders of the Operations Center, intervened in via dei Bronzi di Riace following the report of an assault.
The police officers, who arrived on the scene, were approached by a man who said that, shortly before, in their apartment his son had first physically attacked him and then threatened him with a knife, stabbing him several times without managing to hit him and, for this reason, he had run away into the street.
The officers entered the house where they surprised and blocked the attacker, finding him in possession of a knife with a 21 cm blade.
The man, a 34-year-old Neapolitan with a criminal record, was arrested for mistreatment of the family and aggravated threats, as well as reported for carrying weapons or objects capable of causing offence.
