Hundreds of taxis occupied Piazza del Plebiscito in Naples this morning.
The white cars were parked inside the hemicycle thus occupying the large pedestrian area between the Royal Palace and the Basilica of San Francesco di Paola. It is the latest form of protest in chronological order by Neapolitan taxi drivers, who in recent days have gone on strike several times like their colleagues in other Italian cities against the measures envisaged by the competition bill.
