Naples, they flee at the checkpoint and are caught with a gun: two Neapolitans aged 16 and 18 reported.
Last night, during their territorial control service, officers from the General Prevention Office and the Vicariate-Market Police Station ordered a scooter with two people on board to stop in Via Lavinaio. At the sight of them, the two people accelerated to avoid the check.
A chase ensued during which the driver performed maneuvers that were dangerous for road traffic until, having reached Via Enrico Cosenza, they were finally stopped and found in possession of a semi-automatic pistol with a scratched serial number with 5 cartridges and the driver also of a package containing approximately 0,15 grams of cocaine.
The two, Neapolitans aged 18 and 16, were reported for illegal possession of a clandestine weapon, receiving stolen goods and resisting a public official; the 18-year-old was also administratively sanctioned for possession of a narcotic substance for personal use and was charged with a violation of the Highway Code for driving without a license.
Finally, the minor was returned to his parents and the vehicle was placed under administrative seizure.
