Nola, new city council proclaimed

Nola. Thursday 14 July 2022 at 15:00 pm, at the council chamber of the Town Hall in Piazza Duomo, the session to proclaim the new municipal council and those elected in the electoral round of last 12 June was held.

In the presence of the members of the Central Electoral Office, the President read the official result, ratifying the councilors elected for the 2022-2027 administrative term.
Specifically, for the majority: Carrella Erasmo Giovanni, Pizzella Francesco, Napolitano Bruscino Lucianna, Cantalupo Francesco, Buonaguro Alberto (Democratic Nola), Russo Massimo, Mauro Carmen, Limmatola Olimpia, De Falco Gemma (5 Star Movement), Napolitano Antonio, Napolitano Carolina, Esposito Carmine (For Our Nola), Scotti Erasmo (Nola in the center), Conventi Francesco (Nola Common Good with Piazza D'Armi), Paolino Mauro (Democratic Party).

For the opposition: Maurizio Barbato (unelected mayoral candidate), Parisi Raffaele, Napolitano Santa, Moccia Giancarlo (Nola Protagonist), De Lucia Enzo, Arvonio Giuseppina, Notaro Salvatore (Fare Democratico for Nola), Iovino Vincenzo, Baron Saverio
(More Nola).

Maurizio Barbato, leader of the opposition, declared: "For me it is a new experience that permeates the commitment made in the world of associations. A commitment that I face with great enthusiasm, but also with great determination: it will not be an opposition regardless, but one that will evaluate point by point what will be the proposals of the majority, always proactive in the sense of the common good".

After the ritual procedures, the Mayor, Carlo Buonauro, wanted to express his thanks to the city and greet the new members of the Brunian assembly: "The proclamation of the councilors is the beginning of the service for the community, in the difference of the
respective positions.

Parts that must be united in serving the territory, to relaunch this magnificent land, in all its components, cultural, economic, ethical and social, following the logic of legality and good governance. These must be the premises of good work in a constructive and harmonious climate, which has as its only guiding star the public good, overcoming factionalism while respecting roles. "
