Willy Duarte Murder: The Bianchi Brothers' Friends, Gabriele and Marco Bianchi, sentenced to life imprisonment for the murder of Willy Monteiro Duarte, had devised a plan to try to exonerate the two brothers from the serious charges. The plan had already been “thought up” the very evening of Willy’s death. The story emerged from the investigations that led to the decision to sentence the two brothers.
A chat to exonerate the Whites
The closest and most faithful friends of the White Brothers had created a chat called
"The latch gang”, in which all the hypotheses were written to help the two accused of the fatal beating of Willy. A plan to try to exonerate them. In the chat, in addition to the brothers Gabriele, Marco and Alessandro Bianchi, there were also Vittorio Tondinelli, Omar Sahbani and Michele Cerquozzi, super witnesses ready to exonerate the two who in Colleferro brutally beat the young Willy who had got into an argument between the Whites and a friend.
The witnesses
As reported by the investigating judge, Cerquozzi and Sahbani, in the hours following Willy's murder, arrived prepared for the interrogation; perhaps informed by the press or even by the brothers themselves, they provided the same version of events. The two, questioned by the police, explained that one of the fatal kicks to Willy had been delivered by Bells and in the chat, the unique version of all the members of the group who wanted to help the Whites emerges.The police know everything, they know what we did and that we agreed" they said Cerquozzi and Sahbani two weeks later while they were being intercepted while waiting to be questioned.
Threats to Willy's friends
Willy's friends were also targeted by the "latch gang” : in fact some acquaintances of the boy were approached and threatened for convince them that they saw things wrong because of the darkness and confusion of the moment.
