Naples, Ospedale dei Colli, union agitation: "Ready to strike". The request concerns measures necessary for the correct functioning of the company and departments.
In these hours, protests and initiatives of struggle promoted by the Neapolitan public health unions are following one another, which heralds a truly hot summer.
In a note addressed to the press, citizens and workers of the Colli Hospital Trust, the trade union representatives of UIL, CISL, CGIL, FIALS, NURSIND and NURSING UP have informed that: “Following continuous “sensitizations” formalized by repeated requests for meetings, (always unanswered by the Strategic Management of the Colli Company) in order to concert and plan an organization that allows for the provision of effective, efficient and quality assistance to the citizens of our region (also in view of the resurgence of COVID 19) and a “dignity of work” that protects the health and safety of exposed workers, the undersigned Trade Union Organizations declare the state of agitation of all personnel, reserving the right to subsequently call a press conference with the city and national information bodies”.
In short, one of the largest hospital companies in the South is currently the scene of important union mobilizations that aim to ask for the measures necessary for the correct functioning of the company and its departments for a dignified workplace and the provision of a service up to par.
