It's a controversy Giugliano for the concession of a body of water intended for recreational and sporting activities on the coast. Six city councilors have requested the management determination for the identification of subjects interested in the same concession.
A floating platform could be installed in the body of water for five tourist seasons, starting this year. According to the city councilors, the installation of a water park/floating platform requires the evaluation of a marine biologist "who studies the seabed to verify the existence or otherwise of protected flora and fauna". Furthermore, "an opinion from the superintendency would be necessary since it is an installation less than 300 meters from the coastline".

And all of this should be accompanied by a marine weather study "to understand the incidence of the waves and the amount of wind present". "This is yet another instrumental controversy". This is how the mayor of Giugliano, Nicola Pirozzi, comments on the request to withdraw the administrative act.
The City Hall points out that with the installation of the floating water park the Municipality will also have a small economic advantage and not only that. Since these are expensive structures in the area, constant surveillance would also be expected. Pirozzi says he is amazed also because "structures of this kind have been installed elsewhere, along the Domitian coast, to everyone's complete satisfaction".
