'Positano Sea, Sun and Culture', the historic literary review chaired by Aldo Grasso
“Positano Mare, Sole e Cultura”, the historic literary review chaired by Aldo Grasso and organized by the Mare, Sole e Cultura Cultural Association in collaboration with Mondadori, the Municipality of Positano and the Chamber of Commerce of Salerno, this year dedicated to the theme “Wonderful Time”, closes the curtain on its XXX edition with an evening themed “The Time of Storytelling”.
Friday July 22th (21 pm – Covo dei Saraceni) Paolo Borzacchiello, author with Elisa Sednaoui of Nessuno può farci star male senza il tuo permesso (Mondadori) and Diego Passoni, author of Isola (Mondadori), will tell fragments of apparently ordinary lives, revealing their very human extraordinary nature.
With No One Can Make You Feel Bad Without Your Permission, Paolo Borzacchiello takes us to discover Elisa and Paolo, two young people struggling with the difficult management of emotions and relationships with others. A special book: while you read it, it helps you feel better, to overcome some beliefs that often make things more complicated than they are, to find within yourself the resources to face daily challenges. It is a magical book, designed for you, to make you have fun and feel good: you read it, read it and that's it.
In the shadow of the new glittering skyscrapers of the Isola neighborhood of Milan, an old tenement house still stands. And with it, its inhabitants stand: Italo and Bambina, an elderly couple who have always lived in the small two-room apartment on the second floor; Pietro, who left his job as a pharmaceutical salesman to open a flower shop; Kalinda, returning to Milan after years traveling the world looking for her way. And also her friends Patty and Lola, Marco and Angela from the Lucky bar, and Lucía, (angel) custodian of the condominium. Lives that flow more or less peacefully, until something mysterious happens in the building. Diego Passoni surprises us with a kaleidoscopic novel, and in addition to the characters that populate it, he tells us about it, Milan, a hard-working and hyper-competitive city, with its thousand lights and just as many shadows.
