Maestro Pupi Avati will be the guest of honor for the sixth evening of the Social World Film Festival 2022. On Friday 8 July, the director and producer will meet young authors for a masterclass at the Teatro Mio at 16 pm.

In the evening, at 20.30:XNUMX pm he will be at the Fellini Arena of SS. Trinità e Paradiso to introduce his film “Lei mi parla ancora” with Renato Pozzetto and Stefania Sandrelli, and to receive the “Golden Spike Award” for his career.

In the Arena Loren in Piazzale Siani, the meeting at 21 pm with the actress and web star Valeria Angione for a talk on the theme “Social: instructions for use” interviewed by Roberta Scardola. Following the screenings of the works of the International Competition: “What we don't know about Mariam” by Morad Mostafa (Egypt, 25'), “Reduction” by Anna Reka Szakaly (Hungary, 10'), “Shimpu” by Francesco Inglese (Italy, 12').

The festival activities will start in the afternoon at 16 pm in the Sala Bertolucci of the Giusso Castle there will be an acting workshop for children and teenagers. From 18 pm the screenings for the International Competition of “Boxer Blood and Sweats” by Nima Nadaf (Germany and Iran 104') in the Sala Troisi of Teatro Mio, “(R)OMA: a family history” by Klaas Burger and Stefany Karghoti (Holland, 42'), “Only Human” by Katerina Giannakopoulou (Germany, 24'), “Porpora” by Roberto Cannavò (Italy, 60') in the Sala Rosi of the Cinema Museum in the Antico Palazzo di Città.

The twelfth edition of the Mostra Internazionale del Cinema Sociale, directed by Giuseppe Alessio Nuzzo, will continue until Sunday 10 July. Saturday 9 July awards gala with actors Francesco Di Leva, Jenny De Nucci, godmother Maggie Civantos.

The Social World Film Festival is organized by the Municipality of Vico Equense with the contribution of the General Directorate of Cinema and Audiovisual of the Ministry of Culture and the Campania Region with Film Commission Regione Campania.

The Social World Film Festival has received the Medal of the President of the Italian Republic, the patronage of the Chamber of Deputies, the Senate of the Republic, the Suor Orsola Benincasa University, the Luigi Vanvitelli University of Campania, the University of Salerno, the L'Orientale University, the Parthenope University of Naples, the University of Sannio, and the Giustino Fortunato University.
