Qualiano, illegal occupations: 44 people reported for 22 apartments, 7 of which are also accused of electricity theft.
In recent months, the Carabinieri of the Provincial Command of Naples have been intensifying controls aimed at combating the phenomenon of illegal occupation.
The military of the Qualiano Station, at the conclusion of targeted checks and necessary investigations carried out together with the personnel of Acer of Naples and Enel, have reported 44 people for invasion of public buildings.
The accused – belonging to 22 families – have illegally occupied over the years the public housing of two different residential complexes on Via Giuseppe di Vittorio.
During the operations, 7 of them were also reported for the crime of aggravated theft of electricity. They had tampered with the electricity meters installed in "their" homes.
