Robbery ended in blood in Casalnuovo: 18-year-old on the verge of death. It happened last night and the reconstruction is still being examined by the carabinieri who are investigating.
This night, around 00:30 in Casalnuovo the Carabinieri of the local station intervened in via San Giacomo where an 18 year old had just suffered a robbery. From an initial summary reconstruction it seems that 4 individuals riding 2 scooters had, under threat of a gun, took the victim's scooter and also another scooter that was parked nearby.
The four fled on four scooters. A few moments later, two more reports arrived at 4. The first was about gunshots in via Salice, the second one instead comes directly from the Villa dei Fiori clinic in Acerra where a 19-year-old had been transported after being shot while riding a scooter on Via Salice.
The Carabinieri go both to the hospital and to Willow Street where a scooter was found on the ground with some holes in the bodywork and a covered license plate. The injured man, a 18 year old with no criminal record from Volla. The boy – hit by 2 gunshots – was transported to the Cardarelli where he was operated on and is now in danger of life in intensive care.
One shot to the left leg while the other shot punctured the lung.
Ongoing investigations by the Carabinieri of the Castello di Cisterna company. There are several leads but the main one suggests that the young man is one of the 4 robbers and that unknown people reacted to an attempted robbery by firing several gunshots. The hunt is on for those responsible
