Royal Palace of Caserta, with “Nights of Wonder” opens royal apartments and exhibitions: Friday 22 July from 19.30 to 23.30.
On Friday evenings surrounded by beauty, the appointment with “The Nights of Wonder” returns, the extraordinary evening opening of the Royal Apartments and the exhibitions Fragments of Paradise - Gardens over Time at the Royal Palace of Caserta and The Little Prince - Giuseppe Sanmartino at the Royal Palace of Caserta.
On Friday 22nd July, from 19.30:23.30 pm to 22.15:150 pm, with last admission at XNUMX:XNUMX pm, it will be possible to immerse oneself in the enchantment of the nocturnal atmospheres in the Royal Palace. The public will be able to visit, after having crossed the magnificence of the Royal Staircase, the exhibition in the Queen's Apartments which collects over XNUMX representations of the gardens over the centuries.
The sections present numerous works, many of which unpublished, from prestigious Italian and European museums and institutions, as well as from private collections, libraries and other public institutions.
After leaving the Queen's Rooms, it will be possible to continue in the Palatine Chapel with the exhibition "The Little Prince - Giuseppe Sanmartino at the Royal Palace of Caserta".
The exhibition tells the story of the ceremonial of the births of the royals during the Bourbon period, starting from the discovery in the Museum's deposits of the life-size marble portrait of a newborn baby by Giuseppe Sanmartino, identified as the Royal Infant Carlo Tito of Bourbon. The Royal Apartments will then be opened to visitors.
The charm and evocative nature of the Court rooms, from the reception rooms to those used more intimately by the rulers, concluding with the Palatine Library and the Nativity Scene Room.
The itinerary will also allow you to appreciate 21 works from the Terrae Motus collection, in a constant dialogue between past, present and future. The evening can end in style with a drink and a tasting at the Consorzio Daman buvette of the Museum.
The number of tickets is limited by time slots. Tickets, costing 7 euros, are on sale on TicketOne and at the venue (from 19.30:22 pm on July XNUMX) until stocks run out. Participation in the initiative is included in the season ticket to the Reggia di Caserta.
For ReggiaCard2022 holders, no reservation is required. The tour requires a total time of over an hour. For those who choose tickets for the last time slots, it is suggested to access the upper floor quickly in order to guarantee access to all the museum spaces. The Court Theatre and the Royal Park will be closed.
