The restaurateur Rosario Lamorning, 53 years old, originally from Caggiano in the province of Salerno was found dead inside his restaurant, the Valle and Perbacco from Stuttgart in Germany.
He also lost his life with him John Valley, also Italian, and the same age as Lamattina. Both were found on the ground, with stab wounds and signs of violence. This is the Stuttgart mystery which also involves the province of Salerno because Lamattina was originally from Caggiano, in Vallo di Diano, where his closest relatives live, who left for Germany yesterday to understand what happened.
The discovery of the two bodies occurred late Monday afternoon when a witness called the attention of the police to strange noises coming from the basement of the Geschwister Scholl Street in Stuttgart. The victims are owners of two of the most famous Italian restaurants in the German town, Valle and Perbacco.
Police declined to comment on speculation that the two men had a heated argument, but that appears to be the most popular line of argument at this time. The two had known each other for some time and had even done business together, representing, both from social media and from various assessments, a model for the Italian catering in Germany.
Not only that, both were businessmen well-established in the social fabric of the city, with a very important economic turnover. The last time that Italians had been killed in a restaurant in Germany, dates back to almost 15 years ago, the famous Duisburg massacre or August massacre when six people died in a 'Ndrangheta feud.
