Scampia. On Wednesday afternoon, the officers of the Scampia Police Station executed a detention order issued last June 28 by the Attorney General's Office at the Court of Appeal of Napoli– Criminal Enforcement Office, against a 24-year-old Neapolitan already under house arrest since he was sentenced to 7 years of imprisonment and to legal disqualification and from holding public office for the crimes of attempted aggravated murder and illegal possession of weapons committed in Naples on 25 January 2020.
On that occasion, the 24-year-old had struck, with several stabs to the face and body, an off-duty policeman who, in a commercial premises on Via Monte Grappa, had intervened to quell a fight that had arisen over traffic issues between the man and another person.
