A worker, Salvatore Ruggeri, aged 59, died yesterday in Taormina, in the province of Messina, probably due to anaphylactic shock after being attacked by a swarm of bees and hornets while he was going to work. The man would have opened a cottage, finding the insects inside, which would have surprised him and attacked, concentrating especially on the face and head.
