Sold out at the Arena del Mare yesterday (Tuesday 26 July), for the evening of the Charlot Award dedicated to the Monello and which saw as protagonists first the Compagnia dell'Arte and then the company “Circo Bianco”.
Two events that, as mentioned, saw the participation of many people. Moms, dads, grandparents and uncles, yesterday met at the Charlot together with their little ones for a fairytale evening.
An evening where the watchword was to dream with fantasy. An evening where the little ones had fun with the adventures of Peter Pan and with the show of the White Circus and the older ones became children again rediscovering the beauty of fairy tales, the beautiful ones, the ones that can make you dream. Congratulations and applause for the protagonists of the two shows starting with the protagonists of the musical fairy tale "Peter Pan" directed by Antonello Ronga, namely Teresa Di Florio, Francesca Canale, Fortuna Capasso, Delia Marmo, Mauro Collina, Antonello Ronga, Rossella Cuccia, Ester Sabatino, Aurora Ronga, Marco De Simone, Francesco Maria Sommaripa, the choreography of Fortuna Capasso and the dance troupe of the Professional Ballet of Pina Testa.
And then for the protagonists of “Dreams”, a dance show curated by Pina Testa and Roberto D'Urso, with the organizational direction of Fortuna Capasso, and which saw on stage Mirko Tulli, Veronica Mariani. Paolo Scannavino, Ilaria Leone.
During the evening, the Charlot Award in homage to Pasolini was presented to Renzo Paris.
But the Charlot Award events are not over yet. On Friday 29 July at 11 am in the Sala Giunta of Palazzo di Città, the meeting with Gigi Marzullo will take place. The well-known journalist and Rai television host will arrive in Salerno to present his latest book and meet the public with whom he will talk and tell his story. Born in Avellino in 1953, he gained his first experiences in the editorial office of “Il Mattino” and then became a professional journalist. In 1983 he graduated in Medicine and Surgery at the University of Pisa. A few years later he made his television debut by hosting Italia mia (1986) and Il mondo è tuo (1987), however fame only came in 1989 with Mezzanotte e dintorni.
The format was then reprised for Sottovoce, a talk show that has been on air since 1994. A protagonist of the Rai Uno night-time schedule, Marzullo also hosts Cinematografo (on air on Saturday nights).

JULY 29TH ON STAGE THE HOLY ALLEGREZZA, AN EVENING DEDICATED TO POPE FRANCIS
On the evening of July 29, starting at 21,30:XNUMX pm at the Arena del Mare, it is dedicated to Pope Francis: “La Santa Allegrezza”. Hosted by Lorena Bianchetti, it will feature among others Riccardo Cocciante, Carlo Verdone, Paolo Vallesi, Flo, Amara and Simone Cristicchi, Vittoriana De Amicis, the Sanremo orchestra conducted by Eduardo De Amicis.
For the evening of July 29, dedicated to Pope Francis, access to the Arena del Mare will be by invitation only, which can be collected, subject to availability, from 18.30:21.30 pm to XNUMX:XNUMX pm, at the Arena del Mare box office in Salerno.
