Sisters disfigured in Naples, the investigating judge Saverio Vertuccio granted house arrest to the 19-year-old aunt of the two girls aged 17 and 23 who were disfigured with acid in the Sanita' neighborhood on the night between May 29 and 30.
The woman, Francesca Pia Pirro, which was in the prison feminine of Pozzuoli since last May 31st, it has been assisted by thelawyer Bernardo Scarfo' and the lawyer Annamaria Trivoluzzi. The Naples Public Prosecutor's Office, specifically the "weak groups" section coordinated by the additional prosecutor Raffaello Falcone, charges the young woman with the crime of "Deformation of the person's appearance through permanent injuries to the face" in competition.
The judge's decision, the two lawyers say, is based on the young age of the defendant, who has no criminal record, and on the circumstance that she cannot repeat the crime. Furthermore, the risk of escape was deemed non-existent. The woman will serve the house arrest at a relative's house far from the Sanita' neighborhood.
In the meantime, the Naples Public Prosecutor's Office has registered other people in the register of suspects as part of the investigative activities on what happened that night.
According to what has been learned, the investigators of the "Fasce Devoli" section have interviewed several subjects involved in the affair and are now focusing their attention on the versions of the facts given, one of which was found to be distant in many respects from the one provided during the interrogation by the young aunt of the victims.
Furthermore, the investigators are also examining the role of a young man met on social media from one of the two girls who, that evening, after making an appointment, kept in touch with one of the victims of the attack and then disappeared into thin air.
