This is what is provided for in an ordinance signed by the mayor, Massimo Coppola, to contain, as stated in the document, “a bad habit and behavior that is perceived by the general public as contrary to decorum and decency.” The penalty for non-compliance ranges from 25 to 500 euros measure.

“We have noted that the continuation of such a situation, in addition to constituting an element of discomfort and unease for the resident population and for the visiting tourists, could constitute an objective parameter of negative evaluation of the qualitative level of good living in our Municipality, with consequent repercussions on the image and on the tourist offer”, observes the mayor.
“The protection and improvement of the liveability of public spaces represents a strategic and priority objective of the municipal administration, and the achievement of this goal cannot ignore an action of prevention and contrast of the most widespread phenomena of indecent behavior, cause of decline in the quality of life of citizens”.
