School Special: Campania, a training school named after Enrico Caruso for disadvantaged groups in at-risk neighborhoods.
A training school named after Enrico Caruso to promote access for young generations from disadvantaged groups and at-risk neighborhoods to knowledge of music and the practice of singing, both lyrical and popular.
This is the project that the Campania Region intends to implement, with a specific regional law of 29 June 2021 n. 5 art. 23, to celebrate the centenary of the death of the famous tenor. An idea that finds concrete implementation through the Campania dei Festival Foundation directed by Ruggero Cappuccio, the Ravello Foundation directed by Alessio Vlad and the involvement of third sector associations.
The school will be located in the popular neighborhood of San Carlo all'Arena, more precisely in the spaces of the Parish of Saints John and Paul, a few meters away from the house where Enrico Caruso was born on February 25, 1873.
The notice is reserved for 30 students, young people and minors in areas at risk of social exclusion, unemployed or waiting for their first job, aged no more than 25, Italian citizens, citizens of the European Union, or citizens of third countries who are holders of an EU residence permit or holders of refugee status or subsidiary protection status pursuant to art. 38 paragraph 3 bis of Legislative Decree no. 165/2001. The educational path will be followed by an internship/traineeship lasting 100 hours at theatrical institutions, regional theatrical circuits and lyric institutions.
The aim is to train artistic figures, in a dynamic of professional learning of absolute excellence and in a context inspired by the interdisciplinarity of the teachings. Applications must be sent by certified email to fondazionecampaniadeifestival@pec.it or must be delivered by hand no later than 12:30 on 2022 September XNUMX.
The evaluation activities of the young people to be admitted to the training project will be carried out by the Artistic Director of the Ravello Foundation, the Artistic Director of the Campania dei Festival Foundation and the Parish Priest of the Parish of “Santi Giovanni e Paolo” in Naples.
The artistic evaluation will be based on the sectorial aptitude, motivations and relational skills of the students, as well as any letters of recommendation in their favour illustrating their merits and potential.
