The Nuovo di Salerno theatre season presented: eight shows on the programme.
The 2022/2023 theater season of the Teatro Nuovo di Salerno was presented this morning in the council room of Palazzo di Città. Eight shows on the bill. The start on October 22, the end on March 19. Two events, not included in the subscription, will be held at the Augusteo theater and will feature Dodi Battaglia dei Pooh who will offer a musical show and Peppe Barra who will be the protagonist of “La cantata dei pastori” (the dates are being defined). And then there is the review of contemporary European drama, theater workshops, shows for families, the dance and school theater review.
The artistic director Ugo Piastrella, before listing the names of the protagonists of the theatrical season, wanted to present all the other activities that will take place starting from the month of October in the structure of via Valerio Laspro. But let's get to the theatrical program. As mentioned, the start is on Saturday 22 October, with a repeat on Sunday 23, with a very welcome return, that of Angelo Belgiovine who will present a comic comedy written by him entitled "... but ... Veronica who?".
The show continues on Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 November with Diego Sanchez, Ida Rendano and Gino Cogliandro in “Un suocero di troppo”. The third appointment is on Saturday 3 and Sunday 4 December with the Teatro Nuovo company directed by Ugo Piastrella who will propose “Una famiglia allargata” a new comic piece by Gennaro Morrone. Francesco Procopio and Enzo Casertano will instead be the protagonists of the show that will be staged on Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 January entitled “Non ci resta che ridere”.
While on Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th February Massimo Masiello arrives with “Palcoscenico”, a theatre-song show written and directed by Gianni Conte. We laugh again, on Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th February with Simone Schettino and Lucio Pierri protagonists of “Nella vecchia pianeta…”.
Penultimate appointment Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th March with Vittorio Marsiglia, who will say goodbye to the Salerno audience by bringing on stage the last show of his career “80 voglia di cantare”. The review closes on Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th March with Ciro Ceruti with “Vita ovvero la tempesta perfetta”.
From Tuesday 12th July it will be possible to buy a season ticket for the theatre season at a cost of 130 euros, by going to the Teatro Nuovo box office, open from Monday to Saturday from 17pm to 20pm (closed for holidays from 17th to 24th July and from 13th to 21st August).
