Palazzo Reale SummerFest, Mara Venier opens the second week. Live performances by Jimmy Sax, Fede 'n' Marlen Band, and BNKR44.
Mara Venier will open the second week of events of Palazzo Reale SummerFest on Wednesday 6 July, which until 30 July 2022 will welcome over 50 guests from the Italian music and cultural scene with concerts, special meetings and unmissable shows (Presales on www.boxol.it and www.ticketone.it). With the artistic direction of Maurizio Costanzo, the festival offers evenings of events (21 pm), preceded by the “Aperitivi Reali”, which from 18.30:XNUMX pm will open the doors of the Giardino Romantico (entrance from Via San Carlo) and its panoramic summer sunsets. In addition, there will be the possibility, with the entrance ticket, to visit the Palazzo Reale for free during opening hours.
Wednesday July 6th, Mara Venier – confirmed as host of the next season of Domenica In – will be interviewed by Pino Strabioli in the meeting entitled “Mara tells her story”, during which she will be awarded as Queen of Television with a statuette representing her, created by Neapolitan artists Giuseppe and Marco Ferrigno.
Thursday July 7th the French-born musician Jimmy Sax will offer the audience of Palazzo Reale SummerFest an unreleased repertoire, accompanied by The Symphonic Dance Orchestra, conducted by the Neapolitan Maestro Vincenzo Sorrentino, author of soundtracks for the small and big screen. The refined saxophonist, among the most famous in the world also thanks to worldwide hits such as “No man no cry” and “Time”, will range between deep-house, funky and electro sounds, transporting those present on a journey into his world of cosmopolitan influences.
Friday July 8th Neapolitan music returns to the Giardino Romantico stage with the live performance of Fede 'n' Marlen Band: the duo composed of Federica Ottombrino and Marilena Vitale returns to perform in the city after more than 500 dates throughout Italy, and for the occasion will share the stage with Riccardo Schmitt (drums and percussion), Emiliano Berti (bass and double bass) and Carla Boccadifuoco (keyboards). With their third album, “Terra di madonne”, the artists have returned to their essential sounds. Eight unreleased songs, in addition to the cover of “Malafemmena”, half translated into Spanish and arranged solely with the double bass of Ferruccio Spinetti of La Piccola Orchestra Avion Travel.
Saturday 9th July appointment with the live of BNKR44: after an Italian club tour studded with sold-out shows and participation in major Italian festivals such as “MI AMI” and “L'Umbria che spacca”, the collective will offer the public its album, entitled “Farsi male a noi va bene”, giving life to a performance that will not be limited to just the musical exhibition, but will also touch on other artistic languages such as painting and theater.
