In Ischia the preview of the film “Tempi aggiuntive” by Corrado Ardone with Massimo Peluso, Simona Tammaro and with Gigio Morra and Marzio Honorato.

“Tempi aggiuntive”, the new film by Corrado Ardone, author and director, starring Ardone with Massimo Peluso and Simona Tammaro, and with Gigio Morra and Marzio Honorato, was previewed at the Cinema Excelsior in Ischia on Thursday 14 July, for the Ischia Global Fest, selected by an international board that includes names such as Trudie Styler; Avi Lerner; Mark and Dorothy Canton and others.

The film, which promises to be a masterpiece of independent cinema, has already received positive comments from industry insiders, including journalist Stefano Prestisimone of Il Mattino who defined it as a “comic-surreal thriller shot with innovative techniques, which in the second part reveals a deep and melancholic soul”.

The film places educational poverty and feelings at the basis of the narration, suffocated by the belief of having no other choice than to take the easy road that leads to money. Corrado Ardone states in this regard: “I made a film that I 'felt', without thinking too much about the rules of the market. A sincere, honest film that certainly speaks of feelings, but does so in an unconventional way. For this film, I chose not to initially follow the canonical distribution routes, to show it first to young people, students, and people who have chosen a violent life and who deserve 'extra time', that is, a second chance in life. I was born in the Sanità district of Naples, at the time of the war between the clans, many of my friends chose to follow the wrong paths. I was lucky enough to meet a professor, who taught me about feelings, and to fall in love with art, theater and writing. With this film, I wanted to restore and bear witness to the beauty that fascinated me”.

The feature film was produced by Maxima film by Marzio Honorato and Germano Bellavia, based on a story by Corrado Ardone and Elio della Ragione, with photography by Massimo Accarino, filming by Roberto Parlati, audio by Carlo Licenziato, set design by Peppe Zarbo and Ivano La Montagna, music by Peppe Bruno and Massimiliano Esposito, for the second campaign on Social Cinema. The first was made, again directed by Corrado Ardone, producing “Se mi uccidi poi a chi picchi”, the short film on gender violence that has become a leading manifesto in the fight against femicide.
