Torre del Greco (Naples), more violence just a stone's throw from the center: a 28-year-old criminal known to the police and currently under probation, was shot in the legs. The episode occurred late yesterday afternoon in the area of Via Sant'Antonio, a road that connects the outskirts of the city to the initial stretch of Via Nazionale.
Rescued by 118, the boy was taken to the hospital in conditions that are not considered serious. According to the reconstruction by the agents of the local police station, the young man was riding a scooter along the road when he was approached by unknown people.
The boy told investigators that he was the victim of an attempted robbery and that he was shot in the legs after he fought back. The police are verifying the victim's story and are not ruling out other hypotheses: the young man is under probation (with an obligation to return to prison in the evening) for episodes related to computer fraud.
